Vidic's knee injury

United are awaiting a scan to confirm the extent of Nemanja Vidic’s knee injury after the skipper was hurt just before half-time during the 2-1 defeat in Basel.The early suggestion from the Reds’ camp was that the defender is likely to have suffered ligament damage after twisting awkwardly when penalised for a foul on Marco Streller. Vidic left the stadium on crutches after being replaced by Jonny Evans ahead of the break at St. Jakob-Park and the manager has admitted he fears the problem is medial ligament damage.

“The Europa League is a competition I’ve never been in at United and it does mean one thing - Sundays right through. Thursdays and Sundays. That’s got to be dealt with and it’s not the best but that’s our penalty for not qualifying tonight”

MU were eliminated ?

i still can't believe that MU were eliminated from UEFA champions league. Everybody sure is sad, no doubt about it, and it's still hard when other teams' fans are mocking at us (as usual) but then again strangely I'm getting kinda used with all the disappointing result that we've been having lately.
